Ads Operations team
The Ads team is responsible for continuous maintenance of our ad stack, balancing of our ad config across markets, and introduction of new ad products/releases. Broken down into two avenues, direct and programmatic advertising, our responsibility is to maintain/build/ideate on how best to deliver on client KPIs
QA Engineer in this team will be a part of the cross-functional team dedicated to address the product and reporting needs in the broad area of ad solutions. The team will be responsible for launching new product ads, continuously improving our programmatic stack as well as producing tools generating insight to meet the growing needs of our clients.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
A new QA Engineer will be responsible for:
- leading the quality assurance processes of the team focused on ad solutions (video players, ad providers etc., consent management, ad builders, etc.)
- helping to build and improve our video and display ads stack solution, ads monitoring system and others
- executing risk-based planning (prioritizing) for testing activities
- creating and gathering data for QA metrics to track achieving the core business KPIs
- executing and preparing test cases and test scenarios
- reporting and investigating issues/bugs found
- collaborating with the development team, QAs, Product Owners, and market teams
- documenting and analyzing test results as well as following up on corresponding defects with developers
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
Required skills and systems:
- 3+ years of professional experience as a QA
- general knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes;
- knowledge about best practices for test cases creation, maintenance, and execution;
- an understanding of user acceptance methodologies including, black box testing, use cases, and user stories
- experience with performing and supervising exploratory testing
- understanding of the Scrum/Agile methodology
- sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
- experience with DevTools (or similar)
- experience with tools supporting API testing (Postman, Fiddler)
- AWS hands-on experience
- good time management skills
- providing training and support to quality teams/colleagues on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes based on the Quality Assurance
- fluency in English (C1 level)
Nice to have:
- prior experience with ad tech projects
- experience with building ads solutions, including knowledge of Google Publisher Tag, Amazon TAM or similar solution
- experience in Responsive Web Design
- familiarity with ISTQB concepts
- knowledge of tools for project/test management (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, TestRail, Xray)
- familiarity with BDD and/or TDD concepts
- experience working with multiple teams
- experience or willingness to learn test automation and testing frameworks

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Location: Kraków or remotely from Poland / Barcelona or remotely from Spain
- Salary: 9 000 - 13 000 PLN gross/monthly
