As a Data Analyst dedicated to Product you will cooperate closely with engineers and designers to create the best experience for Brainly users. Working as a part of the Engagement Product Team, your role will not only be to measure and analyse how our users behave, but also to take part in an exciting journey to bring learning-driven personalization to Brainly. Your recommendations will influence the shape of the individualized engagement experience that we are currently building at Brainly. To help you deliver that, you will become an integral member of our data-driven and user-oriented data analysts team, ready to give support and share knowledge whenever needed.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Supporting the process of A/B testing features with choosing the right metrics to optimize, setting up the tracking, analysis of the results and providing recommendations
  • Helping the Product Team build a common understanding of who our users are, how do they use the product and how can we acquire them
  • Ensuring a data-driven product development by preparing tracking specifications for new features, analyzing their performance and recommending further improvements
  • Defining KPIs and measurement plans, creating reports and dashboards
  • Working as a part of an agile product development team on a day-to-day basis (take part in standups, brainstorming sessions, planning and backlog refinements)


WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?

Experience 
  • Required
    • 2+ years of experience in a data/product analyst position
    • Experience in building measurement plans and setting up tracking for apps or websites
  • Preferred
    • Experience with data-driven product optimization (optimizing funnels/websites)
    • Experience in using BigQuery for raw Google Analytics data processing and analysis

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Strong collaborative skills
    • Fluent English (in speaking and writing)
    • Knowledge of A/B testing methodology
    • Working knowledge of SQL 
    • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics
    • Setting up tracking via Google Tag Manager
    • Excellent data presentation and visualization skills
    • Google Sheets/Excel proficiency
    • Statistical background
  • Preferred
    • Tableau or other data visualization tool
    • Flexibility and ability in working in an agile environment (SCRUM)
    • Python
