The project involves an above-average degree of software design conceptual thinking, back-end performance optimization, algorithmic thinking and communication/brainstorming with business-oriented people.

🔥  Requirements:

☑️  Fluency in Python
☑️  Previous experience as a software architect that designed complex back-end system from scratch
☑️  Confidence and experience in building complex Back-End applications based on microservices architecture

☑️  Conversational English (minimum B2, ideally C1 or above)
☑️  At least 4 years of professional software development experience

☑️  Confidence in using tools like: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, ELK, NewRelic, Sentry, AWS, Google Cloud
☑️  Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
☑️  Genuine passion for technology

🔥  Big pluses:
☑️  Studied Computer Science at prestigious university (for instance MIM UW, AGH, Politechnika Warsaw EiTI or similar)
☑️  Active involvement in Python community - e.g. PyCon
☑️  Good organizational and communication skills, technical reliability (!)
☑️  Interest in and understanding of algorithms, optimization - especially in relation to graph theory  
☑️  If you consider yourself a nerd :) and are passionate about the technology, that's a big plus
☑️  Experience with HA systems
☑️  Experience with close collaboration with business people
☑️  Previous experience as a team/tech leader

🔥  Nice to haves:

☑️  Basic experience with JavaScriptu 

The goal of this project is to design the architecture and build from scratch a system for preprocessing and visualization of sales data. 
You'll pick the people for the team and be responsible for the technical aspects and decisions of the projects.  
Don't worry about the boring stuff on Front-End - there will be a separate superstar assigned to it. :) 
It will be either a web page or react native application (TBD). 

The old version of the project provides sales insights and forecasts for brands from Scandinavia, so that they know e.g. which sales person performed the best, which store was the most beneficial. Then, they can leverage that information and grant bonuses and promotions.  
It's also used by sales people to order new products on behalf of the client (no online payment integration btw) and gather feedback from them. 

To illustrate the scale, as of now there are 6 big producers (corporations) that utilize this system, and it's connected to 20 wholesalers. The vision is to prepare the new system in a way so that it can be adapted to new industries e.g. pharmaceutical.
