Project for a big retail corporation in Norway (11k employees) with stores across entire Europe. 

You’ll be working closely with business people (20 years of business experience), IT specialists (SE architects, DevOps, UI/UX people) and also with board members to design and execute digital transformation to replace client’s entire IT infrastructure with an AI-first, data-oriented, modern, future-proof solution.  

The project involves an above-average degree of machine learning system design, conceptual thinking, algorithmic thinking and communication/brainstorming with business-oriented people/industry specialists.

A rare opportunity to hone not only the technical expertise or English skills, but also business-oriented communication, industry-related, practical business know-how and system design skills. 

We have people with Google DeepMind on their CVs already involved. 

🔥  Requirements

☑️  Minimum 3.5 years of professional experience on commercial projects that involved machine/deep learning, AI and predictive analytics 

☑️  Practical experience at and knowledge of ML application in retail and/or ecommerce

🔥  Big pluses

☑️  Participation in Kaggle competition, especially if you rank highly in the user ranking

☑️  Scientific publications

☑️  PhD degree

☑️  Studied Computer Science or Math at prestigious university (for instance MIM UW, AGH, Politechnika Warsaw EiTI, UJ or similar)

☑️  Business degree. Business understanding.

☑️  If you consider yourself a nerd :) and are passionate about the technology, that's a big plus

One of the things that will need to be done at the very beginning is to:

☑️  Analyse what business insights can the client actually get from the plethora of customer and sales data (that hasn’t been analyzed yet)

☑️  Designing data pipelines and data-related experiments that affects the top and bottom line of the business  

☑️  Analysing existing IT/data solution and gathering requirements for the transformation
