Job Description

At Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW) Center in Poland we are offering end to end engineering, innovative IT and Business solutions for smart homes, smart cities, connected mobility, and connected manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop software for assembly lines, packaging machines using IEW1131-3 languages
• Soft testing of the above developed software
• Load the PLC program on the assembly lines, test and validate
• Commission the PLC’s during line installation
• Troubleshoot controls of existing assembly lines
• Handle customer communication
• Coordinate with customer and team in India or other locations
• Travel Requirements: up to 50% of the working time, within Europe

Qualifications

• About 6+ years of relevant experience
• Automation experience in manufacturing of series production for automotive industry (sensors, actuators, Bosch - PLCs, Beckhoff - PLC, axis-controllers, drive control, fieldbus-systems, safety system)
• Previous experience with structured text programming, specifically: OpCon Classic, Nexeed Control Plus, Rexroth Indralogic, Beckhoff TwinCat programming
• Reading and understanding of customer documents like E-Plan, CTS, 3D Models and wiring drawings
• Knowledge of Industrial Automation protocols like OPC-DA / UA, Modbus, Profibus
• Experience in interfacing with external devices like Servo Drives, Motion Controllers, Screwers
• Hands-on experience in any HMI building tools like Factory Talk View, InTouch, WinCC
• Experience in commissioning and trouble shooting of Industrial Automation System
• Fluent in English language, both written and spoken

Good to have experience / skills:

• Knowledge of Industrial Automation standards like ISA95, GAMP
• Any programming language knowledge like .Net C# or Java
• Experience in implementing any Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
• UAT (User acceptance Testing) and plant roll-outs
• Knowledge of German language is also added advantage
