What do you need to get this position?


Technically

  • 2+ years of experience in developing JS applications
  • Advanced knowledge of one of Node.js frameworks like eg.: Express, NestJS, Marble.js
  • Practice in TypeScript
  • Knowledge of SQL (preferably Postgres) or NoSQL database (preferably MongoDB)
  • Strong knowledge of REST API design
  • Good experience with one of the testing tools like Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, or Chai
  • Knowledge of ESNext
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience in Continuous Integration (i.e. Travis CI/CircleCI/Jenkins)
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git preferably)
  • Command of English on B2+ level

Nice-to-haves

  • Good understanding of design patterns important to API-driven apps
  • Knowledge of AWS
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (Scrum preferably)
  • Experience with WebSockets protocol
  • Experience with Reactive or Functional programming paradigms
  • Experience with microservice architecture
