Job description

BitCraft Sp. z o.o. is young and very dynamic company established in 2014. BitCraft designs, deploys, and runs webs and mobile applications for the most popular platforms. Our tech stack is: Python/Django, JavaScript, PHP, Angular and ReactJS.

Your responsibilities:

As a Senior Python Developer you will be expected to be proficient with Python/Django web framework. We would like you to contribute to building advanced IT systems, designing system architectures, support in their implementation and creating technical documentation. Since we want to create an environment that promotes innovation, knowledge sharing and cross training, you will be expected to support the less experienced team members.

Your qualifications:

very good knowledge of Django Rest Framework and Django ORM
few years of working experience with in Python / Django
good command of English – both written and spoken
knowledge of SQL
knowledge of the GIT version control system
knowledge of Linux operating system
ability to write unit tests

Your technical skills:

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
Docker, docker-compose, Rancher
PostgreSQL databases
Django Celery
Python numerical ecosystem: NumPy, SciPy, scikit-image, Jupyter, pandas, xarray, dask
Agile methods, SCRUM
Jira's tools and Confluence
understanding web application design principles
