About the Client

Our client is a global leader in the automotive industry, building modern data platforms to support analytics, digital transformation, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will join a team responsible for developing scalable data solutions on the Azure platform, enabling advanced analytics and business insights.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Azure Databricks, Python, and Spark
• Build and maintain data solutions across the Azure Data Platform (ADLS Gen2, Data Factory, Synapse)
• Develop and manage Data Products using Unity Catalog
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across data platforms
• Integrate data solutions with existing systems and continuously improve performance and cost-efficiency

What we are looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Python, and Spark
• Solid experience with Azure Data Services (ADLS Gen2, Data Factory, Synapse)
• Experience working with APIs (REST or similar)
• Good understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data architecture principles
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g. Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in Agile environments
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with business stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience with structured streaming / big data processing in Databricks
• Familiarity with Databricks Asset Bundles (DAB)
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and security (Unity Catalog)
• Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools
