We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a global Enterprise Recipe Management initiative within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on analyzing and designing solutions around a core recipe management system and its integrations with ERP, ELN, MES, LIMS, and PLM platforms, as well as supporting advanced reporting needs.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of manufacturing and quality processes, excellent analytical and architectural thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively with global, cross‑functional stakeholders. A structured, results‑driven approach and experience defining work breakdown structures are essential.
What you will do
Identify and pre‑assess business opportunities, including value, scope, and dependencies, to support business case development
Design and document user requirements and process flows for the core recipe management system, system integrations, and reporting, ensuring GxP compliance
Define data models, data mappings, and integration patterns across manufacturing and enterprise systems
Create functional specifications and technical documentation for system configurations, integrations, and reporting
Align business stakeholders and technical teams around architecture, data flows, and solution capabilities
Identify and support implementation of relevant Generative AI/ML use cases in manufacturing
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
5 -10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Architect in a pharmaceutical, life sciences, or GxP‑regulated environment
Hands-on experience with product recipe design and parameter definition in manufacturing systems (e.g. MES, PLM, LIMS, ERP)
Strong knowledge of SQL, relational data models, and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), with ability to handle complex reporting independently
Proven experience in system integration projects across manufacturing and enterprise platforms
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear functional and non‑functional requirements
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global, cross‑functional environment
Ability to manage discussions constructively, de‑escalate issues, and remain outcome‑focused
Availability between 3–7 PM CET for collaboration with EU and US teams
Fluent English (spoken and written)
