SecDevOps Engineer

For a key client from the energy sector in Germany, we are assembling an experienced DevOps team.

One of the key figures within that team will be a SecDevOpsEngineer.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the role in principle is 100% remote but might require you to meet the team and Client in Berlin - a one-time trip for a maximum of up to 2 weeks (we cover the costs).

As Senior SecDevOps Engineer you will take care of all security aspects of our stack. You will be working

closely together with our engineers ensuring secure and optimal development and operations of all our tools,

including CI and CD activities.

Engineers are expected to understand their realm of operations end-to-end and are required to work with

automation first and wherever possible a GitOps approach. Every action performed that enriches the

architecture with implementation details needs to be documented. Every manual operation needs to be

documented with an explicit reason why it was not automated or why it cannot be automated.

Our requirements:

Experience in a scaled environment with multiple network zones

• Experience with container technologies
• Git Versioning
• GitOps Principles
• Agile Principles
• Cloud Native

Understanding, and/or practical experience within the stack:

Aqua Security (e.g. Trivy, Kube-bench, eBPF)

• Cilium EE / Hubble
• Gitlab
• ArgoCD / GitOps
• GCP / GKE
• Rancher Kubernetes Engine
• 2 years working with Kubernetes and/or public cloud projects
• Deep understanding of the Agile Manifesto
