The SW System Engineer in BEUMER Group is responsible for solving software development tasks as well as participating in parts of or the total project and product from analysis to test and even commissioning of the system.

In your daily work, you will be part of a project team of about 4-10 colleagues, and together you will create the solutions that will become the world's leading intralogistics systems for conveying, loading, packaging, sortation, and distribution in the world. We take care of the entire SW development palette of our complex systems. You will have the opportunity to get your hands-on topics like system backend, UI, databases, algorithms and testing.
We are searching for a professional and motivated team member who will join our team, where the main responsibility is development and delivery of high-end quality system engineering oriented software solutions. You will work in an international organization, communicating and supporting our customers worldwide.
Your responsibilities
In relation to this role, the following overall tasks are in scope:
- Develop software according to specifications, SW development best practices, BEUMER processes and company quality management system.
- Programming in .NET, .NET Core, HTML5, Angular 2+, SQL, and more.
- Ensuring compliance with defined coding and architectural standards.
- Estimating the software development tasks.
- Configuring and setting up third party software, hardware as well as platform components and products.
- Documentation of developed solutions.
- Test of developed software.
- Supporting and troubleshooting running systems (remote or on site).
- Keeping technically up to date.
Qualifications
You are a motivated, confident and communicative person with already profound enterprise experience in software development. Furthermore, you have the following qualifications:
- University degree – IT or technical oriented studies.
- Open for working within international teams.
- At least 3-4 years of proven commercial experience with the following programming languages / technologies: .NET, HTML5, Angular, SQL.
- Very good level of English written and spoken.
- Strong focus on quality assurance (code, patterns, processes, documentation, tests, etc.).
- Good orientation and overview in the area of machine engineering machine, especially in the segment of intralogistics (nice to have).
- Knowledge and understanding of agile project methodology (nice to have).
- Understanding of CAD tools (nice to have).
