Job description
Beta District is a Hong Kong based company with offices in Poznań, London and Odessa. Broad range of different products (from blockchain and BitCoin payment system to worldwide gambling platform) allowed Engineering team to use a a lot of different solutions, based eg. on Ruby, GoLang, Java and React.js. We are looking for open-minded people, with a high level of adaptability as problems to solve change every week.
What we need from you:
- In depth knowledge of, and passion for Ruby on Rails (2 years’ experience preferred, Java or Golang are nice to have)
- Knowledge of Node.js, Angular or React.js
- Optionally C, C++ or Clojure are positives
- Experience with TDD or BDD workflows
- SQL and key/value data structures
- Experience with Git, Pivotal, Jenkins
- Fluent English skills (Polish is not required)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of 4-6 Engineers
- Driving continuous improvement and best practices within as well as across the teams
- Help to drive features, innovation, and product vision
- Participate in all aspects of product life-cycle, including understanding requirements, building and deploying quality software, and supporting device features
- Write clean, easy to read and maintain code
- Work in collaboration with other team members; share knowledge and suggestions
