System Administrator

Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management:

• Maintenance of Azure cloud-based infrastructure components (e.g., Linux and/or Windows servers based on virtual machine instances, EntraID, Azure Monitor, Azure SQL, Application Gateway + WAF, PowerShell (Runbooks), Bicep)
• Improving the performance of operating system components and networks
• Resolving ongoing problems and incidents according to best practices

Network Security:

• Ensuring the security of IT networks in Companies by implementing effective security strategies, system updates, and NSG, Firewall, WAF policies
• Monitoring threats and responding to incidents

Technical Support:

• Providing technical resolution support regarding issues related to cloud and on-prem IT infrastructure
• Monitoring alerts and reacting to detected issues
• Proactive incident and change management according to industry best practices
• Contributing to, updating, and implementing procedures related to system support

Technological Development:

• Tracking new trends and technologies in the Azure cloud domain, as well as evaluating whether new solutions can be effectively implemented in the organization

Monitoring:

• Monitoring systems for threats, performance issues, incidents and anomalies

Technical Requirements:

• Knowledge of Azure environments
• Familiar with ITSM/ITIL concepts (Change/Incident/Problem management)
• Operating systems: Windows Server, Linux (Centos, Ubuntu)
• Understanding of networking concepts (VNETs, NSGs, VPNs, etc.), identity services (Microsoft Entra, RBAC), and security best practices.

Qualifications:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in a System Administrator or similar role
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities

Nice to have:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Experience in working in international environments
• ESXi or other hypervisor experience
• Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
