This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw and you will join Team Omega. At Nykredit, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to eight days per month. Your direct manager will be Gitte Menzel.

  • Participate in the establishment and enforcement of API governance standards across the development lifecycle to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve security concerns, maintain high coding standards, and adapt to evolving technology trends

To succeed you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in Java programming and REST API development
  • Spring or Microprofile or Java Enterprise experience
  • Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design and its application in software development
  • Experience with API protocols and standards support, such as REST
  • Knowledge of API governance frameworks and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • API design practices
  • Unit testing experience
  • A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent analysis skills
  • Friendly code review practices

It’s nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices
  • Swagger experience
  • QA / Testing experience
