Job description
Withing new upcoming project, our partner – investment bank would like to move towards the upgrade of its internal bullet-proof Build system, that serves nowadays around 1000 Applications with 400 builds per day. The aim of the project is smooth migration to a modern DevOps Pipeline.
Currently, the system uses Jenkins V1 seed jobs behind the scenes controlled by a homemade J2EE component and related Web Application (JSP).
We are now searching for a Technical Lead, who will take care not only of communication to the outside world but also drive the implementation together with a technical colleague.
Detailed Tasks will be:
- Steer the detailed tasks of the implementation team(2 people)
- Manage high efficient communication to Subject matter experts
- Manage high efficient communication to other stakeholders like SDLC Lead Architect and GCC heads
- Detailed Design of solution and migration steps
- Implementation of Jenkins Pipelines in a mix of Groovy, bash, Windows cmd and others
Skills needed:
- Good Communication attitude
- Ability to cover Scrum-Master tasks for a small team
- Jenkins (admin, writing Shared Libraries)
- Groovy
- OS command lines (Linux bash, Windows cmd/Powershell)
- Java / J2EE / JSP
- Language: fluent English
