Batmaid.com is an international marketplace platform for home cleaning services. Our internet application helps people to find their maid at an affordable price. After 5 years in operation, we’re a leader in the Swiss and Luxembourg markets, with more than 40’000 clients and 2000 maids. The platform performs many functions like bookings, logistics, planning, fleet management, communication, data science, payroll, recruitment, operations, and many more. In order to continue doubling our scale every year, we need your talents as an experienced PHP Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to a team of senior back-end developers
- Plan technical tasks based on project requirements
- Participate in the implementation, perform code reviews
- Provide training and mentorship
- Enforce and improve code quality standards and best practices
- Collaborate with business and internal leadership
- Track and prioritize work on technical debt
What we require:
- Fluency in English, our office language
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on work experience developing PHP
- Solid experience in the management of different size backend teams
- Deep knowledge of OOP and SOLID
- Experience with SOA and microservice design
- A habit of writing clear, understandable, and maintainable code
- Git mastership is a must
- Knowledge of Symfony inside out
- Experience with CQRS or similar architectural patterns
- DDD
Soft skills:
- Desire to lead by influence and showing a good example
- Experience mentoring development team members
- Communication with business leaders in non-technical terms
- Hardworking and dedicated
