Market Abuse Surveillance Business Analyst

Detailed description of work task to be carried out

The consultant will support the ongoing project to implement a new Surveillance solution. The tasks include

Position Job description:

Analyse detection model and data requirements based on the market abuse surveillance risk and coverage assessment
Collaborate with Technology for analysing and clarifying the requirements and incidents
Tuning and Calibration of the detection models for Trade and Orders surveillance
Collaborate with internal and external technology teams for new developments
Participate/Drive internal reviews of calibration

Location: Warsaw preferred, Gdańsk alternativeley

Must-have knowledge and experience

Prior experience of implementation/requirement analysis for automated surveillance systems
Prior experience of markets, products, detection models analysis, calculations and threshold tuning and calibration
Experience with data analysis
Experience working with large data Sets and multiple data sources
Previous work experience with Nice Actimize MSE solution and knowledge of the data model
Experience in analysing and sourcing data from golden data sources
Understanding of the Capital market products in relation to market abuse regulation

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience

Experience of working in Compliance function
