Senior Automated Test Engineer

WHAT WILL YOUR JOB CONSIST OF:

• you will create and enhance automation scripts for efficient software testing based on business requirements and processes
• you will work with the following technologies: Cypress, JavaScript, TypeScript, Gherkin, Postman, Git, Jira, Confluence
• you will lead automation efforts by overseeing and executing automated tests, ensuring comprehensive coverage and adherence to best practices
• you will collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and integrate automation into the development process
• you will be implementing your own ideas and the ideas of the team to improve the test methodology of our product
• you will guide junior testers in automation tools and techniques
• you will implement and evaluate new testing tools and methodologies for process enhancement
• you will prepare test documentation and report findings to stakeholders
• you will identify process risks
• you will check auto-test results daily, can identify bugs, and make a "first" analysis of it (to provide as many details as possible of the issue, the pattern, steps to reproduce it, etc.)

HOW WILL YOUR FIRST MONTHS LOOK LIKE? 

• within your first month, you will have a good understanding of our Axxiome Digital product with help of seniors and architects which whom we’re building our solution
•  within your third month you will be able to work on your own and make contributions to the projects, client and support your team in emerging issues
• finally, within your sixth month you will be leading your own initiatives, proposing new solutions based on the needs of the team and client, and your own unique perspective 

REQUIREMENTS – IF YOU HAVE:

• at least 6 years of experience in banking or finance industry
• bachelor’s degree, preferably in IT
• strong analytical skills to assess testing needs, identify gaps, and evaluate the effectiveness of automated testing solutions
• the ability to think critically and creatively to identify, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently, especially when dealing with complex automation scenarios.
• clear and effective communication- it is essential for collaborating with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders
• precision in testing and automation is crucial, as even minor errors can lead to significant issues in software performance
• flexibility and openness to new tools, technologies, and processes are important as testing frameworks and requirements often evolve
• effectively prioritizing tasks, managing time to meet deadlines, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products is essential
• teamwork and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams, including development, testers, and operations, to align testing efforts with project goals
• good English – at least B2

• banking or financial industry experience (e.g. process knowledge, banking products (current account, fixed term deposit, saving accounts, teller, cash management, transactions, customer data)
