    Technical Product Owner – IoT


    We're growing fast at our Coiote platform, where we make it easier for businesses to manage lots of internet-connected devices. Coiote helps keep these devices running smoothly and securely, letting them talk to each other and update automatically without any hiccups. It's made for companies that create these devices, develop new technologies, or need to manage them all in one place. Joining us means you'll get to work on all sorts of projects, from creating new devices to figuring out how to connect more of them together efficiently. We're searching for an experienced Technical Product Owner who's passionate about this field and wants to help shape the future of how devices are managed.     Our ideal candidate has experience in:

    • Agile (work methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, LeSS)
    • The role and the responsibilities of PO in Scrum, LeSS
    • Product management and product development lifecycle
    • Prioritisation methods: KANO, MoSCoW, Buy a feature
    • Business models: SaaS
    • User Stories, User Story Mapping, requirement decomposition, impact mapping, 5 Whys
    • Tools: Jira, Confluence, MongoDB, Grafana
    • Industry knowledge: LwM2M, IoT market, computer networks, network protocols, network stack


    What you'll do once you're in the role:

    • Product backlog management (prioritise tasks in the product backlog based on user needs and business objectives, organise work within the product backlog)
    • Product documentation preparation (create and maintain detailed product documentation and technical requirements for engineering teams, including product specifications that define what will be built and why, the goal of the new product or feature, and how success will be measured)
    • Collecting and defining detailed acceptance criteria (gathering requirements and feedback from stakeholders, including customers and the development team, to clearly define what a successful outcome looks like for each feature or user story)
    • Creating user stories
    • Technical analysis (conduct technical analysis of support tickets, collaborate with epic owners to prioritise tasks, prepare solution design)
