Technical Product Manager - Embedded

Join our dynamic team of nine trailblazers at the forefront of the IoT revolution, working on Anjay, an advanced client library for the LwM2M protocol. The Anjay IoT Software Development Kit (SDK) equips you to craft secure and efficient IoT solutions, optimizing connectivity for low-power devices and networks, critical for effective device management across various industries.

Our core programming suite encompasses C99, bolstered by modern C++ and Python to enhance functionality and adaptability. Additionally, Java bindings and sample codes are meticulously crafted to support diverse platforms comprehensively.

Requirements

Must have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong technical background, with handson experience in embedded software development (>3 years).
• Experience with software development tools and methodologies, including CI/CD, Docker, and  build system (CMake).
• Practical knowledge of C/C++, Python programming language and basics of electronics.
• Understanding of security best practices in embedded systems and IoT.
• Experience in product management/product owner roles with a focus on embedded systems and IoT.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering high quality products in a fast paced environment.
• Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver cohesive product solutions.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and deadlines.
• Excellent problem solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical and business challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience working with IoT products, including device management, connectivity solutions, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with IoT communication protocols (e.g., CoAP, MQTT, LwM2M), data analytics, and cloud integration.
• Strong understanding of IoT ecosystems and the challenges involved in deploying and managing IoT solutions at scale.
• Demonstrated experience in product discovery, from ideation through to validation and implementation.
