About the project

Coiote DM is a large-scale device management platform that allows clients to monitor, connect, and manage their IoT devices using the LwM2M protocol. Together with the Coiote Application Enablement and Anjay (LwM2M client SDK), Coiote DM creates a comprehensive IoT Data Platform and allows users to easily connect and integrate devices with external systems.

This is an opportunity for experienced developers and architects to join the team and have a significant impact on the product and create scalable, global, and resilient architecture to handle hundreds of millions of devices simultaneously.

Currently, there are 4 development teams working for the success of the product and all are ready to welcome you as a new teammate.

The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Scala developer who is not afraid to be a part of a team and help us to build the IoT Platform that is going to become the number one choice for every modern IoT producer or connectivity supplier. We’ll be happy to talk to you if you:

Have at least 5 years of professional experience in programming (including at least 2 years in Scala)
Hold bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

A huge plus is if you have experience in

Building autoscalable and distributed systems
Technologies such as: Kubernetes, Mongo, Redis, AWS, Azure, GCP, Angular, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Kafka, LwM2M, MQTT
Have deep understanding of different programming concepts (Event Sourcing, CQRS, Microservices, Relational/NoSQL databases, APIs [REST, GraphQL, RPC], connectionless protocols [UDP], Load Balancing)

What you will do

Lead and design highly-complex projects from scoping to production
Work closely with the technical team to build well-fitted solutions with great performance
Analyse collected data to identify possible development paths
Participate in the full development cycle: design, develop, QA, deploy and support
