Avis Budget Group operates a network of 200 rental stations and 4 regional headquarters in Central Europe (Germany, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic). Infrastructure and end-user support at these sites is provided by several onshore and offshore partners who are managed by central and local ABG IT teams.
You will be part of our local IT team in Central Europe based in Warsaw, Poland and will take ownership of the rental station and head office infrastructure as well as end-user support at these sites.
For this, you will work closely with partners and the central IT teams using your local knowledge and language skills. You will also be able to translate between end users and our partners' IT specialists. You will support the regional IT Business Partner with implementing IT processes in the region and improving the quality of technology services for the region.

Your profile is rounded off by excellent troubleshooting and high-level interpersonal skills. Ultimately, a top-class IT Engineer helps resolve all IT issues quickly and effectively while maintaining a good relationship with the users.
You will report directly to the IT Business Partner for Central Europe who is based in Frankfurt, Germany. You will work with users on all levels of the organization and support third-party service desk agents, engineers, and software developers.

Your outstanding communication skills will help you to effectively talk to business users as well as IT specialists, and you will be confident in both supporting your internal customers and directing external suppliers.
Job Requirements
You must be fluent in Polish (bilingual/ mother tongue) and English (min. C1). Knowledge of the German language will be a bonus.
The role is office-based (Warsaw HQ), but a willingness to travel is required (once or twice per month). A valid driver’s license is essential.
You will work closely with the local Operations team looking after our rental stations across Poland and the Czech Republic. Experience with opening new branches and relocating existing branches, as well as planning and managing renovations, would be welcome. Since there is no dedicated Facility Management team in the country, experience with shop fitting (electrical and network installations, furniture) and working with relevant suppliers would be welcome.
