Job description

Based out of the USA, Avid started the revolution of computer-based video editing over 25 years ago and since then continues to invest in research and development

Required:

2-5 Years of practical experience in a QA Automation or Developer role
Ability to code in Node.js (Javascript), Java, Python
User-level experience with Linux (CentOS, Red Hat)
HTTP experience
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools

Additional qualification that “would be nice to have”:

Ability to develop software in C++, C#
Understanding of full software lifecycle application environments using Agile/Scrum development processes
Test framework development experience
Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure experience
Testplan development, specifically for micro and distributed services
Understanding of build/deployment automation and continuous integration
Experience with Jenkins a plus
