Job description
We are looking for a Business Analyst for a project in a medical industry. It's a remote work within the country of Poland but with the ability to work from the Wroclaw Poland office (pl. Grunwaldzki) at least 2 days a week (preferably 3 days a week, after the pandemic). Working hours are from 10am to 6pm or 11am to 7pm with evening meetings to support other time zones and a global workforce.
The Business Analyst for Cloud Migrations will collaborate with the application owners on both the business and IT side as well as members of the cloud and migration teams to define, deliver a cloud migration model per application. Ensuring minimal business interruption, data and system security, system validation, and still meets the technical standards equal to or even better than the data center deployment. Typical responsibilities may include providing input to tactical and strategic application and cloud direction, facilitating the process to collect and define requirements, providing expert advice and recommendations based on architecture capability as well as lessons learned from prior migrations. Performing analysis on business or systems processes to identify improvements delivered as a result of the migration to include calculate cost/benefit data.

Required experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of relevant technical or business work experience with at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience in Risk management best practices
- Experience with cloud solutions - Azure and/or AWS
- Strong working knowledge of multi tiered Windows applications to include

- Provides Business Analysis and Requirements management in support of Cloud and DCaaS migrations
- Working with application owners to analyse and document test plans for applications to include defined success criteria
- Breakdown/resolve business roadblocks to cloud or DCaaS migrations
- Works independently and simultaneously on multiple migrations simultaniously
- Business Analysis of applications prior to migrations
- Assure minimal business risk and disruption during the migration
- Define move success criteria
- Lead the development of test plans for post migration
- Coordinate complete successful migrations and acquire approvals for old environment decommissioning
- Assist in completion of post migration documentation update and/or generation
- Selects, adopts and adapts appropriate business analysis methods, tools and techniques; selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
- Collaborates with stakeholders at all levels, in the conduct of investigations for strategy studies, business requirements specifications and feasibility studies.
- Designs and manages tests of migration and resulting new/updated processes.
- Highlights issues and risks identified during testing to business stakeholders.
- Facilitates input from stakeholders, provides constructive challenge and enables effective prioritisation of requirements.
