    Avenga is seeking an experienced Application Management Services (AMS) Specialist to join our client's team in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role and a strong technical background in maintaining financial applications and infrastructure. The AMS Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of VWFS systems and platforms, implementing application updates, and closely collaborating with various teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.


    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure the reliability and availability of VWFS systems and platforms. 
    • Implement application and platform updates in pre-production and production environments. 
    • Resolve service requests within the agreed SLA. 
    • Coordinate and track the escalation of service requests. 
    • Manage all communication with clients and partners required to resolve support-related issues. 
    • Maintain and configure applications to ensure they remain operational and available to end-users. 
    • Install, update, and maintain applications, ensuring they are aligned with the latest and most stable versions. 
    • Collaborate closely with the Service Desk and Platforms & Infrastructure team to troubleshoot and find solutions. 
    • Work with IT Business Development domains to deploy IT services to pre-production and production environments. 
    • Build and maintain knowledge and documentation of all managed applications. 
    • Conduct continuous monitoring and analysis of applications, striving to improve system availability and performance. 
    • Collaborate with software development teams (often with vendors) to implement improvements. 
    • Facilitate root cause analysis processes to identify issues and find real solutions.
    • Identify and mitigate risks to application availability, proactively addressing and resolving issues before they impact service levels. 
    • Participate in and track IT processes implemented within the IT organizational unit.


    Requirements:

    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Knowledge of financial application maintenance and infrastructure.
    • Experience in the installation, configuration, or support of business applications.
    • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT systems.
    • Understanding of ITIL and COBIT best practices.
    • Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
    • Excellent communication skills.
