Job description
The Solutions Development team designs deploy and tests solutions such as web services, applications and enterprise portals to meet client needs. This team works closely with the technical leadership and functional teams to fully understand the requirements of the project. Members of the Solution Development team also participate in client relationships, develops proposals and assists in marketing efforts.
Day-to-day You Will:
- Work on the ongoing server-side C#.NET development
- Build efficient multi-threaded server-side applications
- Be a part of a global team of developers tasked with the implementation of key regulatory requirement.
- Work closely with the business analysts, SMEs and business stakeholders.
- Design solution which meets functional requirements with respect to non-functional requirements
- Be responsive to changing requirements and priorities
- Show understanding of good project planning practices and team management processes
- Show ability to be an effective team member by working closely with colleagues from multiple teams and disciplines, bringing added value to the team
Required skillset:
- 2-4 years of experience in C#/.Net development
- Good .Net/C# experience with detailed knowledge of object and component oriented design techniques (.Net Framework 4.5)
- Agile development methodology experience / Jira
- Distributed computing experience
- Continuous Integration experience (TeamCity, Jenkins)
- Unit testing experience
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and good communicator with peers, managers and business users
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take ownership of issues and follow to resolution; delivery-focused
- Ability to work well under pressure, as well as tolerance for change
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of SQL/T-SQL
