What will you do?
 
The Client Continuity Manager (CCM) ensures that customer’s contractual requirements regarding Business Continuity (BC)/IT Service Continuity (ITSC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) are fulfilled and addressed by continuity plans. Any potential impact on the provision of services to the customer is being analyzed and related threats are adequately assessed and addressed by mitigation actions or corresponding continuity plan(s). The CCM also manages the risk acceptance with the client in case contractual obligation cannot be fulfilled.
 
Main responsibilities
 
Client/Account Relationship Management
 
  • Act as focal point for customer / Customer Business Continuity Manager
  • Ensure compliance with contract regarding BC/ITSC/DR
  • BC/DR Project Advisory and facilitate growth / upselling activities with BC/DR input
 
BC/DR Process Management
 
  • Align ITSC Process with customer requirements
  • Plan and track BC/DR activities as part of the BCM Program
  • Create awareness for BCM and ensure people are enabled
  • Obtain Lessons learned and plan, initiate, execute and coordinate continuous improvement
 
BC/DR Delivery
 
  • Perform/moderate Contract Reviews, BIAs and Risk assessment and track actions
  • Develop and maintain continuity plan(s) and train all defined stakeholders for these plans
  • Plan, develop, prepare and participate in DR Tests to ensure their proper execution and create report
  • Participate in RCAs of relevant incidents and drive lessons learnt as part of DR Tests
  • Provide BC/DR related input to client and account reports
 
Risk Management
 
  • Highlight exceptions to policies / standards / baselines / contract
  • Maintain Account BCM Risk Register (treatment and maintenance)
  • Escalate (systemic) risks without chance of mitigation into IDM organization
 
Audit Management
 
  • Single point of contact for any audit addressing BC/DR
  • Facilitate audit preparation and provide BC/DR related presentations and evidence
  • Remediation management of findings and deviations regarding BC/DR
 
Competencies
 
Business/Technical Knowledge and Skills
 
  • Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery (tests)
  • Business related processes, service/product and IT knowledge
  • Assessment and analytic methodologies
  • Moderation and presentation techniques
  • Good knowledge of ITIL
  • Knowledge of the relevant standards (ISO31000, ISO22301/BS25999, ISO27000 etc.)
 
Requirements:
 
  • Experience in operational risk and BC / ITSC / DR management
  • Experience in assessments, audits and continuous improvement
  • IT background
 
Personal Skills and Capabilities
 
  • Client focus to understand client’s needs
  • Team working to ensure BC / DR solution is developed / implemented across towers
  • Good communication skills
  • Creative Pragmatism to achieve maximum with given resources
  • Flexibility to address right people in alternating circumstances
  • Good English and where specifically requested also other local languages
