Job description
Daily Tasks:
- Designing ETL solutions,
- Implementing the designed ETL solutions in stored procedures in Snowflake,
- Documenting the ETL solutions and managing their evolution
Requirments:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Systems
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working on designing and implementing ETL solutions, interacting with complex data processing pipelines
- 5+ years of hands-on experience coding complex SQL queries in Oracle or MS SQL Server Most of the transformation logic in our ETL flows is written in SQL
- Some hands-on experience in writing stored procedures in Snowflake. You’ll be writing stored procedures in Snowflake
- Some hands-on experience with IBM DataStage. IBM DataStage is used for integration, orchestration and scheduling for the ETL processes.
- Advanced knowledge of ETL concepts (e.g. loading a dimension table, loading a fact table)
- Good knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional data model design
- Good knowledge of Data Integration concepts
- Strong skills in translating business requirements into ETL solutions
- Ability to work independently and under own initiative once guidance and goals are provided
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira and Unix
- Knowledge about banking domain. Adequate support and training will be provided to the right candidate
