    Join Rublon to work with a team of cybersecurity enthusiasts who are building the future of enterprise user authentication. Rublon is a multi-factor authentication platform used by hundreds of customers across the globe to protect employee logins to networks, servers and applications. Rublon is a sister company of Astec IT Services.

Astec teams are hired to advise clients on innovation and to design, build, maintain and support compliant enterprise software solutions.


    We are looking for a long-term employee or contractor who will support ongoing development efforts in the following project:


    Development of Rublon SSO

    Rublon Single Sign-On (SSO) will be a cloud-hosted identity provider (IdP) that allows our customers to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) on cloud services like Microsoft 365, Salesforce and Asana. This is a greenfield project that will make use of our experience coming from the Rublon Access Gateway product.


    How You’ll Work

    • Location: 100% remote or office in Krakow, Poznan, Wroclaw, Zielona Gora
    • Technology Stack: PHP 8.1, Laravel 9, Angular 16, Docker, GitHub, SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), AWS
    • Team: 6 Developers, 1 Tech Lead, 1 Technical Writer, 1 Product Manager
    • Language: Polish or English for communication with team members; English for project documentation and commit comments
    • Hardware: modern laptop

    What You’ll Do

    As a PHP Laravel Cloud Developer on the Rublon team you will help develop enterprise cloud software for modern user authentication:


    • Development of the Rublon SSO cloud service
    • Enable users to log in to cloud services using an SSO Portal
    • Enable administrators to connect cloud services using authentication protocols like SAML and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
    • Enable administrators to connect third-party identity providers like Active Directory, Microsoft Entra and others
    • Develop cloud-hosted software on AWS
    • Develop enterprise software solutions for user authentication
    • Development takes place locally on your company laptop as well as on external testing environments
    • Analyze requirements, create concepts and discuss them with the product manager
    • Monitor code quality and perform code reviews
    • Design, implement and execute development and integration tests


    Skills You Have

    • Experience with PHP web application development using Laravel
    • Basic knowledge about cloud software architecture
    • Ability to confidently communicate with peers
    • Knowledge of Polish or English language


    Nice To Haves

    • Knowledge of authentication protocol like SAML, OIDC, LDAP
    • Knowledge of identity providers like Microsoft Entra and Active Directory
    • Experience in developing cloud-hosted server software (preferably on AWS)
    • Knowledge of frontend web technologies like Angular
    • Knowledge of software application security
    • Demonstrated success as part of a distributed team
    • Good knowledge of English language (level B2 or better)
