    Join Rublon to work with a team of cybersecurity enthusiasts who are building the future of enterprise user authentication. Rublon is a multi-factor authentication platform used by hundreds of customers across the globe to protect employee logins to networks, servers and applications. Rublon is a sister company of Astec IT Services.

Astec teams are hired to advise clients on innovation and to design, build, maintain and support compliant enterprise software solutions.


    We are looking for a long-term employee or contractor who will support ongoing development efforts in the following project:


    Development of Rublon for Windows

    Rublon for Windows Logon & RDP is a Windows credential provider that allows our customers to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) on Windows workstations and servers. We want to enhance this product by supporting more use cases and IT environments.


    How You’ll Work

    • Location: 100% remote or office in Krakow, Poznan, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Zielona Gora
    • Technology Stack: C++ 11, Qt 5, Windows API, Active Directory, FIDO, Inno Setup
    • Team: 6 Developers, 1 Tech Lead, 1 Technical Writer, 1 Product Manager
    • Language: Polish or English for communication with team members; English for project documentation and commit comments
    • Hardware: modern laptop

    What You’ll Do

    As a C++ Windows Developer on the Rublon team you will help develop software for modern user authentication:


    • Development of Rublon's Windows credential provider
    • Improve its native compatibility with FIDO2 security keys
    • Build a true offline mode for use in situations without internet access
    • Add support for Windows Hello
    • Develop enterprise software solutions for Windows user authentication
    • Development takes place locally on your company laptop as well as on external testing environments
    • Analyze requirements, create concepts and discuss them with the product manager
    • Monitor code quality and perform code reviews
    • Design, implement and execute development and integration tests


    Skills You Have

    • Experience with C++ 11 software development on Windows
    • Knowledge about Windows API
    • Ability to confidently communicate with peers
    • Knowledge of Polish or English language


    Nice To Haves

    • Experience working with Qt Framework
    • Knowledge of FIDO authentication standard
    • Experience with Windows Server administration
    • Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra administration
    • Knowledge of Windows application security
    • Knowledge of certificate-based user authentication on Windows
    • Experience in preparation of MSI installation packages
    • Knowledge of C# programming language
    • Demonstrated success as part of a distributed team
    • Good knowledge of English language (level B2 or better)
