The Senior Specialist – Data Privacy Advisor will be responsible for ensuring that Arla’s information security policies, standards, and procedures are effectively implemented and enforced

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Security Policies and Standards

- Define, maintain and provide expert guidance on the implementation of Security Policies, Standards and Processes.

- Adhere with Arla wide Policy approach and integrate relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

- Support in definition and setup of control mechanisms.

- Security Culture, training and awareness

- Collaborate in building and execution of information security training and awareness campaigns.

  •  Compliance and regulations

- Working together with Legal department, identify external compliance and regulatory requirements, address, manage and execute on them. NIS2, GDPR, CCPA, etc.

  • Third-party risk management:

- Support definition of the relevant information security requirements.

- Create, implement and manage framework.

  •  Data protection

- Support definition and implementation of processes allowing to classify the data and ensure their protection, including backup, retention, leakage prevention (DLP)

 

Essentials Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security governance and policy, risk management and/or audit.
  • Experience in developing and implementing security policies and standards in a large, complex organization.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices, such as ISO 27001, IEC62443, NIST, and COBIT.
  • Proven ability to lead a project teams of security professionals, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate security risks effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders, building strong relationships based on trust and mutual respect.

 

It is a strong plus if you have:  

  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or CRISC as an advantage.
