Arla Foods is looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Solution Consultant specializing in procurement to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Consultant , you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative and efficient solutions for our procurement processes.

How you will make an impact

In your new role, you collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and sustainable IT solutions within the procurement domain. You will take an active part in designing end-to-end procurement solutions, utilizing Ariba and integrating 3rd party modules as necessary and lead the developments in close cooperation with the procurement architect. More specifically you will:

• Together with the Architect explore, analyze, and implement opportunities within SAP procurement(S/4HANA)
• Implement relevant changes in SAP MM, Ariba & future 3rd party systems
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing procurement systems and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration

What will make you successful

The ideal candidate has proven experience as an IT Solution consultant, specifically within the procurement domain. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You likewise thrive in an independent role and have the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines. Further, the preferred candidate has: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications and advanced degrees are a plus
• Strong expertise in Ariba-Ariba P2O/Guided buying, Ariba Contracts, Ariba Sourcing/Guided sourcing, Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (or similar solutions)
• Experience with E-invoicing, Cloud integration gateway(CIG) and Ariba Network
• Experience with SAP procurement(S/4HANA-MM) will be preferable
• Extensive knowledge of 3rd party modules commonly integrated with Ariba and S/4HANA
• Solid understanding of integration methodologies, web services, APIs, and data integration concepts
