Scrum Master - Gdańsk 

 

Join Platforms Agile Release Train (ART) and be part of Arla’s large scale journey to become digital and more data driven. In our teams we are building Arla’s future data platform, defining tool governance and working with cutting edge technologies. As a Scrum Master in Platforms ART, you will act as a s servant leader for one or two Scrum Teams, while also taking part in various tasks and responsibilities on the ART level. You will set tasks and direction in collaboration with stakeholders, and you will be looking ahead to plan and define the teams next deliveries, while also staying on top of daily progress, risks and dependencies.

How you will make an impact 

As a Scrum Master you are responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the agile methods and processes in your teams. You will facilitate getting the work done, and drive efficiency and focus through challenging priorities, estimates, and keep the team focused on the agreed priorities.  

 

You will: 

  • Build T-shaped people 
  • Lead team's efforts in relentless improvement 
  • Support psychological safety and trust in the team 
  • Build a transparent environment in the team where feedback is a natural part 
  • Ensure that Agile and Scrum are understood and run effectively with the team adhering to Agile theory, practice, and guidelines 
  • Be a role model and a mentor in Agile behavior 
  • Take part in our communities of practice, work with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to grow within the role, and contribute to the advancement of Agile practices 
  • Be an active part of our continuous Agile transformation 
  • Log, monitor, and mitigate issues 
  • Secure deliveries in accordance with IT requirements (Handover to IT, GDPR, etc.)                       

 

Additionally you will: 

  • Share the responsibility with RTE on forecast and budget for your team 
  • Support RTE to create a qualified and competent team setup and establish new teams 
  • Work with cross team improvement activities within Platform ART 
  • Collaborate with other scrum masters to increase the efficiency of the application of scrum across the train 
  • Provide all the above using a servant leadership style, always challenge status quo and leading by example 

 

What will make you successful 

You are an experienced (IT) Scrum Master, Agile Coach or Project Manager, who is ready take the next step and join a highly skilled agile release train building Arla’s future data platform. 

 

You have experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach using agile principles and conducting Scrum ceremonies.  

 

To succeed in this role, you preferably also: 

  • Have strong oral, written and presentation skills combined with the ability to facilitate meetings and lead group discussions for navigating complex solutions 
  • Have a passion for coaching others and you are a true source of inspiration and motivation 
  • Are a phenomenal teammate who enables and constructively support and challenge others to succeed 
  • Have solid project management skills in terms of prioritizing work, identifying dependencies and blockers to progress 
  • Are fluent in English 

Additionally  

  • Having experience working in a SAFe ART 
  • Knowing and using stakeholder management methodologies and toolkits to ensure effective communication when collaborating with the business to understand their needs  would be an advantage.
