    As a Release Train Architect, you will play a key role in our organization, collaborating with the Marketing & Innovation Agile Release Train (M&I ART) management team to lead our digital transformation initiatives. We are approx. 50 highly skilled people in a mix of internals and externals. We span from deep technical insights to broad business knowledge, and we collaborate to create the best solutions for the business and maximize the value of our IT investments.

     

    How you will make an impact

    You will be responsible for advancing Arla’s architectural design and leading a team of solution architects. Your focus will include areas such as Marketing Excellence, Product Lifecycle Management, Product Innovation. To enable the digital future, we drive the technical direction and development through a roadmap where you engage with our enterprise architects and business stakeholders to ensure the support of our business strategy.

     

    We operate in an agile environment, leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to guide our processes and methodologies. You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Release Train Engineer to inspire the business and identify new opportunities. At the same time, you ensure we build the best technical solutions to solve the business challenges, and engage with our IT Operations and IT Security to ensure stable and secure operations.

     

    Your role will involve technical leadership but also the development and mentoring of a team of 6 solution consultants and solution architects. By fostering a supportive, inclusive and innovative environment, you will help your team reach their highest potential, driving both individual and organizational success.

     

    More specifically, you:

    • Are a key member of the M&I ART leadership team setting and communicating the technical and architectural direction
    • Build target architectures and high level technical solution architectures
    • Lead the development of technical solutions as well as the infrastructures, environments, build & release pipelines, etc.
    • Responsible for technical solution quality and compliance with Arla’s processes, architecture principles, security guidelines, operational models, etc.

     

    The position is based in either Aarhus, Denmark or Gdansk, Poland. Some infrequent travel between Aarhus and Gdansk will be required, along with occasional trips to our European markets.

Through your technical leadership, you supervise, inspire and deliver excellent results through others.

     

    To succeed in this role, we imagine that:

    • You are a highly experienced IT architect with a proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise-grade digital solutions
    • You have a strong knowledge of digital development and operational disciplines, modern architectures, and clouds
    • You have experience with digital solutions in marketing, product data, and innovation is highly advantageous, e.g. PLM, PAM, PIM, CMS, DAM, Data Platforms, etc.
    • You have the ability to oversee a very diverse landscape of systems as well as familiarity with our key platforms such as 3Dexperience, InRiver, and Optimizely
    • Ideally, you have people management experience, but we are also open for candidates who have a big aspiration of becoming a people manager
