As a Customer Master Data Specialist you become a part of our Global Shared Services in Gdansk. Here, you won’t find factory machines or farmers. Instead, you will join over 500 colleagues dedicated to supporting all of Arla with IT, HR, financial and procurement operations. We are Master Data Transformation team – part of IT Transformation and Data Governance department. In this team we support organization across functions with implementation of

key master data processes (PowerApps), data migration and projects implementation (SAP rollouts, but also other systems).

 

About the job

You will join the Master Data Transformation team that consists of 5 Master Data Specialists, each of them being a subject matter expert in (at least) one of following domains: Materials, Vendors, Customers Master Data.

Now, we are looking for a new team member to join our team, who will focus mainly on Customer Master Data area e.g. implementing SAP rollout in more of Arlas markets (Greece next), supporting data governance and many different projects around customer area.

We work mainly in Kanban methodology, however some of initiatives are also waterfall-driven.

 

Specifically, you will:

  • Drive Master Data stream in different phases of new and ongoing projects (SAP, PowerApps, Governance), preferably in Customer Master Data domain
  • Be responsible end-2-end for Master Data object in terms of data analysis, data transformation, data migration and business change management during SAP implementation
  • Focus on process improvement in area of master data creation by being a consultant for our key stakeholders (Governance managers, Customer Service, other Agile teams, Master Data Operations)
  • Facilitate workshops to create understanding of the changes
  • Set the direction for Data Quality and follow up on initiatives improving KPIs
  • Support other ad hoc change initiatives

Who are you?

Because of the challenges in implementing and communicating business changes, you will make good use of your strong communication and relationship building skills. At the same time, you will need to be skilled in influencing, communicating and working effectively with all levels across the Arla organization. You possess the empathy to handle and understand human elements in transformational change efforts.

 

Furthermore, you:

  • Have at least 3 years’ experience in one of the following areas: Master Data, SAP, Data Analysis or Commercial area (Customer Service, O2C)
  • Are familiar with SAP system or any other ERP
  • Have a deep business processes knowledge specifically in O2C/ Commercial area
  • Have a basic understanding of Kanban and other project methodologies
  • Able to travel for international business/project meetings 2-4 times/year (typically 3-4 days per travel)
  • Are able to present processes in a clear way
  • Have ability to draw conclusions, escalate issues and formulate recommendations
  • Speak and write English effortlessly
