How you will make an impact

We are looking for an Expert Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team in Gdansk (part of IT Services) In this critical role, you'll make a significant contribution by supporting and maintaining our Azure cloud infrastructure and mentoring your team. You'll be instrumental in resolving level 3 support incidents, driving key cloud initiatives, and ensuring the timely delivery of service requests. Your strong collaborative skills will be essential in working effectively with stakeholders and driving technical innovation within the team.

 Specifically you will:

• Technically lead a team of Cloud Operations Engineers, providing technical guidance and support
• Resolve complex level 3 support incidents related to Azure infrastructure
• Drive cloud initiatives, contributing to the overall strategy and implementation of cloud solutions
• Deliver service requests from the business, ensuring timely and efficient completion
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various teams and departments
• Identify and implement opportunities for technical improvements and process optimization within the team
• Proactively monitor and maintain the health and performance of the Azure infrastructure
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for processes and procedures
• Stay current with the latest Azure technologies and best practices
• Optionally participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support coverage (extra paid)

What will make you successful:

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years focused on Azure cloud environments
• Deep expertise in Azure services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Server
• Strong experience with SQL Server administration, including database performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, etc
• Experience with automation and scripting (eg, Python, PowerShell)

Furthermore you have: 

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions
• Experience with other cloud platforms (eg, GCP, AWS)
• Relevant industry certifications (eg, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in a large enterprise environment
• Familiarity with ITIL and Agile framework
• Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
