Overview of the role
As a Junior Technical Support Engineer you will be working in the DB team to provide high-quality technical L2 support of our software for multinational clients’ IT teams. Your work will involve working with databases to troubleshoot and resolve system problems as well as configuring the system, performing changes in the system, etc.
Responsibilities
Providing high-quality technical L2 support of our software for multinational clients’ IT teams
Taking ownership of customer and technical issues, providing timely resolution and high level response
Troubleshooting technical challenges and resolving them using database
Writing database queries updates / inserts / deletes and DB scripts
System configuration
Performing CABs under the supervision
Participating in daily standups and taking ownership of assigned tasks
While the role evolves: writing DB backup and rollbacks, writing DB migrate scripts, supporting DB parts of projects, preparing scrits and configuration for a pre-designed solution, supporting DB migrate release preparation.
Requirements
Great analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details
Proficiency in Excel is required and SQL knowledge is an advantage
Ability to work on your own with little supervision
Fluent English
Intermediate-level Spanish-is a plus
Graduate, or last year student with desire to work in IT company and learn databases
Availability to work between 10:00 and 18:00
