The key responsibilities are:

  • Working as a part of diversified team to test changes in a financial app (ravenue management area)
  • Make sure you fully understand the app business flows for Revenue Recognition and you can translate them into test cases
  • Design test cases in qTest Manager based on requirements/user stories in continuous  cooperation with BA, Dev, testers 
  • Prepare input data, model contracts (financial contracts), verify output
  • Create and execute manual & automated tests on the application. Analyze the results.
  • Perform analysis of failed tests. Report bugs in Jira.
  • Communicate the results of tests and analysis back to the project team
  • Maintain and update test cases based on continuous feedback
  • Ensure new features are continuously added to automated regression tests
  • Day-to-Day work with the other testers to agree on a common process and test approach


What we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes & experience:

  • Quality Assurance & Testing background - preferably coming from a financial domain
  • Thorough knowledge of the Java programming language and practical use of the Selenium tool
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (professional proficiency)
  • Great analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Self-sufficiency, proactivity and responsibility for assigned tasks
  • Knowledge of Agile
  • Excellent team player  

Advantageous Skills:

  • Domain knowledge in the area of finance
  • Continuous Integration knowledge - server-side &      configuration (Jenkins)
  • ISTQB certification
  • Experience of using JIRA (or equivalent tools)
