As a Junior DevOps Engineer at Apptension, you will be expected to:

manage development environments (from local to cloud) across multiple projects
support our DevOps Engineer in his day-to-day duties
find your way around our stack: Docker, Jenkins, HashiCorp Vault, AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, S3, Cloudfront, IAM, Lambda), Google Cloud Platform (Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL), Kubernetes, nginx
share your ideas to improve our DevOps processes

Here’s a list of the qualities we would like you to have:

you have some experience with Docker. You know how to configure docker-compose and networking. When creating a Dockerfile, you’re thinking about how to do it in the most efficient and space-saving way.
when it comes to Git, you know better than to abort and try again when you see a mid-rebase conflict and you care about your branching strategy
you’re familiar with different kinds of web app architectures
you know how to use Python and Bash or Shell
you‘re familiar with the best practices of nginx
you have basic understanding of network management (DNS, Firewall) and VPN
