Your responsibilities will include: Design and build web applications using Ruby on Rails Design and implement relational data bases Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Write automated tests for your code including edge cases, usability, and general reliability Work on bug fixing and improving performance Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies
Requirements: 1 year of Ruby on Rails development experience. Good knowledge of database design Good knowledge of RDBMS (e.g. PostgreSQL) Experience with ORM (e.g. Active Record) Experience with testing framework (e.g. Rspec) Experience with Git Experience with Unix systems and shell Experience in writing and reading technical documentation Familiarity with design patterns and SOLID principles Familiarity with REST API design B2 English
Nice to have: Knowledge of JavaScript framework like Vue or React Experience with administrative panel framework (e.g. Active Admin) Experience with JavaScript, Elixir or Python Experience with automation tool (e.g. Capistrano) Experience with AWS or similar platform Experience with non-relational database (e.g. Redis) Experience with background processing gem (e.g. Sidekiq) Experience with documentation tool (e.g. Swagger) Experience with Postman or similar API testing tool Experience with Docker Experience with requirements analysis Experience with Web Server (e.g. Nginx) Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
