Project description
As an Erlang Engineer, you will be working for our client, who is a major player in the Adtech industry. The client is operating globally in the US, EU, and Asia, with the Adtech development team located in Montreal, Canada. The team is working on the platform, which is designed to serve real-time ad traffic to desktop machines, mobile devices, and connected TVs.
Responsibilities:
- Performance tuning
- Optimization of the platform
- Designing High Available solutions
- Adding new features
- Maintenance of the platform
- Fixing bugs
What will you need?
- 3+ years of experience with Erlang
- Very good understanding of TCP/IP protocol and networking
- Hands-on experience deploying/maintaining/troubleshooting live production systems
Nice to have experience with:
- Binary protocols (one of):
* Protocol Buffers
* Thrift
- Apache Kafka
- ScyllaDB
- Memcache, Redis
- Monitoring: Grafana + Prometheus
- Docker
- Or willingness to work with high throughput real-time systems
- Or knowledge of OpenRTB protocol and Adtech domain is a big plus
