    Integration System Engineer 

     

    Location: Cracow

    Contract Type: B2B

    Salary: 150 PLN/hour - 200 PLN/hour

    Work Model: Hybrid (1 day in the office)

     

    Overview:

     

    We are a division focused on investment banking activities. Our work involves millions of transactions across various financial markets. Our IT teams design and develop modern systems that cover all aspects of our operations, including trading, sales, customer tools, transaction processing, and financial and regulatory reporting.


    The Team:

    We deliver End-to-End IT Integration Services, including Consulting, Development, and Operations:

    • Solution design and architecture in IT projects
    • Consulting for business integration issues
    • Development and operation of IT interfaces on an IBM integration platform
    • Managing business-critical interfaces across various lines of business and functions, including Payments, Transactions, and Customer Master Data.


    Key Accountabilities:

    • Development and operation of interfaces within our EAI/ETL/API integration environment
    • Planning, implementing, maintaining, and testing messaging systems such as IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), and IBM MQ
    • Technical operation and 2nd level support of applications
    • Performing quality checks for both development and runtime
    • Analysis, troubleshooting, and monitoring
    • IIB/ACE platform administration
    • Enhancing automated continuous integration processes
    • Collaborating internationally with colleagues in Technology Centres
    • Participating in on-call duty during evenings & weekends, approximately once every 5-6 weeks


    Requirements:

    • In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, particularly RedHat, with Bash and batch scripting; Python is a plus.
    • Experience with IBM Integration Bus v10 (IBM WebSphere Message Broker), IBM App Connect Enterprise Version 12.0, and IBM MQ
    • Familiarity with tools like Eclipse, GIT, Maven, JUnit, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools
    • Experience with automation tools (Puppet, Ansible)
    • Strong understanding of Agile Methodologies
    • Strong communication skills in English
    • Self-organization and reliability
    • Open-mindedness


    Nice to Have:

    • Communicative German
    • Experience with IBM Infosphere DataStage or other ETL tools
