Technical Product Owner will represent the customers voice, will align business products with the needs of different customers. Person on this role will be working closely with the Development Teams, Customer Engagement Managers to ensure there is a clear understanding of what is needed in the product.

Ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred in computer science)
  • 5+ years of experience in similar position (preferred in tourism)
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Experience in working with large-scale systems in international environment
  • Experience in writing User Stories
  • Experience in agile software development methodologies using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smart Sheet
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills 
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Basic knowledge of XML is an asset
  • Previous experience as a business analyst in ERP systems and complex systems will be an asset
  • Ability to build strong relationship with stakeholders
  • Ability to coach others and "can do" attitude 


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting business needs and product specification
  • Translating business needs into concepts and implementable solutions
  • Making product development status  and progress visible to higher management and realise their ROI
  • Setting priorities and grooming the product backlog
  • Risk and project management (project charter, RACI, budget, burn-down charts, risk register)
  • Stakeholders and communication management
  • Managing dependencies and coordinating between teams
  • Ensuring that the Team is doing “the right thing” at all times
  • Acting as an expert in the domain who is able to explain dependencies of different items to the client
  • Sharing knowledge with colleagues to make a useful contribution to company knowledge base
  • Following long-term vision for product evolution
