We’re looking for an experienced technical leader to support and grow our development team in our office based in the heart of Europe - in Poland's Silicon Valley, from where we serve the world!
Our ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor Engineering, computing science or related studies
- 3+ years of professional Ruby/Ruby on Rails experience
- Experience with MongoDB
- Knowledge of Sinatra/Padrino and JavaScript would be an asset
- English professional proficiency
- Experience or willingness to lead a team
- Strong technical and problem solving skills
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading a development team from a technical perspective, including mentoring developers in programming, design, and architecture best practices
- Building world-class, consumer-web applications alongside highly collaborative teams
- Representing the team to internal stakeholders (creative, marketing, etc.) and partnering with peer development teams to create technical solutions
- Identifying new areas of technology opportunity beyond current organizational thinking
- Working closely with development leadership to ensure we deliver value to our customers
- Learning new things (every day!)
