Database Architect/Engineer (Big Data / Data Analyst / AI)

Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Architect/Engineer to join our team in building a cutting-edge AI-driven educational technology platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing scalable, high-performance, and secure database architectures, with hands-on experience in both SQL and NoSQL environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and secure database architectures.

• Work with large volumes of data and ensure efficient data processing.

• Build data storage solutions optimized for advanced analytics and AI model training/inference.

• Collaborate with solution and infrastructure architects to implement robust data storage strategies.

• Optimize performance using caching tools and search/analytics engines.

Required Skills & Technologies:

• Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL), NoSQL (Firestore, MongoDB)

• Caching & Search: Redis, Elasticsearch

• Cloud Platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure

• Programming & Tools: Python, Apache Airflow, ETL processes

• Big Data & AI Integration: Experience with large-scale data processing and AI-ready data pipelines

Optional but Valuable Experience:

• Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, BigQuery, DataBricks, n8n

• Machine Learning and ML frameworks
