Python Staff Engineer

For our Fintech client from the UK, we are seeking a Python Staff Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, with experience in AWS and familiarity with React being a significant advantage. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining a platform that will transform our client's business operations.

If you possess...

·      7+ years of professional experience in Python development,

·      Strong knowledge of web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI),

·      Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS,

·      Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture,

·      Knowledge of Docker

·      Proficiency with version control systems, such as Git,

·      Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices,

·      Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail,

·      Strong communication and teamwork abilities,

Nice to Have:

·      Experience with front-end technologies, particularly React,

·      Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

·      Experience with database technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL).
