 We are looking for a Lead/Senior Data Engineer with AWS willing to join our team!

Your role in the project:

• Understand and analyze business requirements to design and implement scalable data solutions in AWS. 
• Understand data sources and legacy solutions to design optimal data architecture and migration strategy. 
• Design and develop ETL pipelines using AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, S3, Step Functions, DynamoDB, etc., to ingest, transform, and load large volumes of data. 
• Lead and mentor junior data engineers, providing technical guidance, reviewing code, and promoting best practices. 
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AWS services and data engineering techniques, and share knowledge with the team. 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, performance, and reliability of data pipelines and analytics solutions. 
• Participate in architectural discussions, contribute to the design of scalable and resilient data systems, and ensure adherence to best practices and standards. 

If you possess...

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on developing serverless solutions in AWS.  
• Proficiency in AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, S3, Step Functions, DynamoDB, etc., and hands-on experience in designing and implementing solution architectures using these services. 
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing. 
• Experience in designing and optimizing ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing and analytics. 
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python/PySpark and experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior colleagues. 
• AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (preferred).
