- Spending the majority of your time creating new functionalities in microservices ecosystem
- Taking quality of code in your hands by conducting code reviews
- Exploring best practices of extreme programming like pair programming, mob coding, TDD
- Taking the technical aspects of the overall product in your own hands, alongside a group of highly skilled engineers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience building software or web applications in Java
- Experience building microservices (docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience writing APIs and services with Java and Spring
- Working expierience with AWS stack (EC2, S3, Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS) is a great plus
- Good understanding of algorithms and data structures as well
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, test driven development (TDD), extracting / refactoring code into services, domain-driven design, and CI/CD
- Ability work in a collaborative environment, frequently in pair programming sessions
