WHAT YOUR CHALLENGES WILL BE?

As a DevOps Engineer, one should be able to analyze business needs and accordingly design, lead, drive and implement highly scalable and complex DevOps solutions.

In the capacity of an DevOps Observability SME, the lead engineer is responsible for taking up lead roles in executing key engagements of rolling out Enterprise DevOps projects/programs/organizations. They need to build plans and help in implementing key engineering practices at team level. The lead engineer is also responsible for creating approach notes, making presentations to customers, and helping teams with DevOps adoption.

• Design and implementation of Observability Solutions

• Integrations with existing frameworks

• Telemetry Data Analysis

• Performance Optimization

• Documentation

• Contributions to Open Telemetry

• Monitoring and Maintenance

• Compliance and security

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE?

• 8 years of experience in IT industry

• Experience with Open Telemetry framework and deep understanding with Python, Ansible, Jenkins, CICD pipelines, Grafana, Kafka, Prometheus, Splunk, Unix, Windows, NGINX, REST API, Kubernetes, Solutions integrator.

• Programming experience with Flask, Node.js, SQL, Java, Python, PowerShell, Groovy, Shell Script, YAML, Golang

• Understanding of multi-tier application architectures and Unix/Linux work environment

• Strong background on infrastructure provisioning and maintenance in cloud infrastructure platforms.

• Proficient with database types Postgress , MySQL,

• Experience with different database types InfluxDB , Prometheus , RDS and NoSQL

• Ability to develop, test and maintain programming environments and architectural standards.

• Experience with working in an agile development lifecycle and continuous integration processes using tools such as Git, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Ansible

• Experience on code quality assessment tools and integration with CI tools.

• Experience or exposure to Test Driven Development Experience

• Hands-on and extensive experience in applying end to end observability / monitoring with number of different tools like Nagios, Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc

• Experience with container and container orchestration tools (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Proficient with Rest API and proven track record of projects completed.
