WHAT YOUR CHALLENGES WILL BE?

Senior Data Engineer wanted!

🗝️Start date: ASAP, 1st of August the latest

🗝️Fully remote work (from Poland) with possibility to work from Warsaw or Poznań offices (for those who prefer hybrid work)

🗝️ Project: designing and enhancing a cutting-edge data platform built on Snowflake and Azure, leveraging dbt Cloud for transformations

Main tasks:

• Design and improve a robust data platform built on Snowflake and Azure

• Use dbt Cloud to transform data and deliver new features

• Optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate processes, and improve data governance and monitoring

• Solve complex problems, enhance platform reliability, and continuously improve systems

• Work closely with other Data Engineers in a collaborative environment

• Operate independently and have the freedom to propose and implement your own solutions

• Contribute to a project organized in Kanban using Jira

Requirements:

• At least 4-5 years of experience working as a Data Engineer

• Strong experience with DBT, Snowflake, and SQL

• Proficiency in Python or another object-oriented programming language, such as Java or C#

• Solid knowledge of relational databases and data integration from various sources

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and tools, including Git (preferably GitHub) and GitOps workflows

• Good understanding of data architecture and best practices for designing scalable systems

• English proficiency at a minimum B2+/C1 level

Nice to have:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform

• Familiarity with Jinja templating

• Strong data modeling skills, including designing star, snowflake, or vault schemas

• Experience with Azure services, particularly Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, or Azure Data Lake

• Knowledge of Iceberg
